Who we are
With its office in Tirana and branches in other cities, the UIM Albania Center offers support and practical assistance to Italian citizens residing in Albania and to Albanians who live and work in Italy, or have done so in the past and have returned to their homeland. All in collaboration with the Unione Italiani nel Mondo (UIM) and the Patronato ITAL UIL, promoted by the UIL union and active since 1952. The UIM, Unione Italiani nel Mondo, is the association that protects the rights and interests of Italians wherever they live, offering them support and assistance in the social, political and social security fields.
UIM Albania offers a wide range of services (Patronato) and tax assistance (Caf), along with activities to promote Italian trade union culture. Through our structured partnership with the Italian organizations UIL and Ital UIL, which collaborate with the Italian Ministry of Labor, we are committed to giving you access to all services without having to go to Italy. Our operators are directly connected to Italian bodies such as INPS.
UIM Albania’s mission is to provide high-quality support and assistance to anyone in need of social security services. Through collaboration with recognized entities such as INPS, we are committed to simplifying access to social rights and benefits, eliminating geographical and bureaucratic barriers. We believe that every person deserves fair and timely support to ensure stability, security and integration, while enhancing the culture and solidarity between Italy and Albania.
The Ital UIL patronage, founded in 1952 by the Unione Italiana del Lavoro (UIL) trade union as a private non-profit organization, aims to provide public utility services in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Labor. For over 70 years, Ital UIL has offered assistance to workers, pensioners, young people, the unemployed and immigrants, facilitating their interactions with the Public Administration. With a widespread presence in Italy and abroad, the Patronato operates in over 30 countries.
We imagine a future in which every individual, regardless of their country of residence or career path, can easily access their social security and social rights.
We want to become a point of reference for Italians and Albanians, creating a bridge between the two nations to promote social inclusion, economic well-being and greater awareness of their rights. With the help of innovative technologies and a network of solid collaborations, we aim to offer increasingly efficient, accessible and personalized services, helping to build stronger and more connected communities.
